High school basketball courts are a little different from their college and professional counterparts. The most noticeable difference is that the court is a full 10 feet shorter, measuring only 84 feet… It's also the same 12 feet wide as the NCAA — four feet narrower than the NBA and WNBA.

Are college basketball courts the same size as high school
Although many courts are standard size, not all college and professional basketball courts are the same length. Professional courts must measure 94 feet in length, a distance that holds true for women's professional play also. Many college courts have the same length, but some college courts are actually 84 feet in length, usually because of age or a lack of space to use a full-length court.

The Foul Line: For all courts the “foul line” distance is 15 feet from the foul line to the front of the backboard.

Pro (NBA), College, High School and Junior High School courts differ on overall size and layout, but the interior markings for the “Foul Line”, and “The Backboard and Rim” are the same measurements. The NBA court has a unique 3 point line (arc). Regulation Sizes-Official Measurements:

High school basketball courts are smaller than those in college and the pros. They’re only 84 feet long. However, they’re the same width as NBA courts at 50 feet.

Although the dimensions of a high school and dimensions of a college basketball court differ a lot, the interior markings present on the backboard, the rim, and the foul line are still the same. Overall court size: The official court size of a men’s college basketball court is 94 feet long and 50 feet wide.

While college courts are 94' long, high school courts are 84'. Junior high courts are even smaller at 74' and play with a width of 42'. The other primary difference is high school courts generally do not have a restricted arc under the basket.

At first glance, it may seem that there are not any differences between college (NCAA) basketball and professional basketball (NBA). The court looks the same, both have hoops positioned at the same height, and the whole game generally seems identical.
